This Ohio mansion has hit the auction block for $250K

A massive 7,000-square-foot mansion in Ohio has hit the auction block at a starting — and staggering — bid of only $250,000.

Located in Cincinnati, the home has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.

“Opportunities such as this are rare,” the listing says.

The owners of M.B. Farrin Lumber Co. — a 19th century lumber baron — had commissioned Kennedy & Adkins architects to design the home, making it one of the most notable estates in the city.

Features include intricate woodwork, expansive spaces and grounds, and a detached carriage house, according to the listing.

But upon closer examination, it appears the home was left in an abandoned state. Interior photos show deteriorated areas.

The home spans nearly 7,000 square feet.

The next buyer will likely have to invest in a renovation project, which could cost anywhere between $25,000 to $100,000.

The home belonged to a family physician named Helen L. Weiss, who passed away over the summer at age of 71, according to records obtained by The Post. She purchased the home in 1990.

“Her pride and joy was her home in historic North Avondale that she fondly referred to as Kismet,” her obituary stated.

Bids were asked to be submitted by 6 p.m. on November 6.

According to Nick Motz of Motz Real Estate and eXp Realty, a bid was accepted Tuesday afternoon for a little over $500,000.

“I just completed the offer of acceptance with the buyer’s agent,” Motz told The Post. “Not closing for another 30 days, but it is under contract.”

Motz represented the listing. Liz Heubi of Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer.
