EcoVadis recognises Emerald House Associates for sustainability initiatives

UK. Airport installation and activation specialist Emerald House Associates (EHA) has claimed an EcoVadis gold award honouring its extensive environmental efforts.

EcoVadis is a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, with a global network of over 85,000 rated companies in more than 160 countries and spanning over 200 industries. Its award places EHA among the top 5% of its assessed companies.

Recent sustainability-related investments by EHA include the implementation of new processes, products and eco-equipment aimed at increasing its green credentials.

EHA – whose projects in confectionery, liquor and beauty promotions include collaborations with Coty, Chanel, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Jack Daniel’s, Jameson and Tiffany & Co – has overhauled operations, replaced lighting systems and switched to renewable energy. Additional green measures include reduced packaging, repurposing/reusing materials and the introduction of biodegradable bubble wrap.

Emerald House Associates Director Kelly Vickers-Earll said: “We take our responsibility to combat climate change very seriously and are extremely proud of the changes we’ve already achieved in collaboration with our clients, suppliers and employees.

“Everyone at EHA is elated to have achieved this prestigious accolade because there are so few companies that have achieved the gold standard sustainability rating. We are committed to making it our mission to continue to find new ways to minimise our carbon footprint.”

EHA services include 3D design, large format printing, acrylic fabrication, 360 production and installation. The company is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) accredited, has a Carbon Footprint Standard alongside a Safe Contractor certification and Safe Contractor PQQ silver award.

Emerald House Associates Business Development Manager Emerald McNamara added: “This is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates how EHA continues to put sustainability at the forefront of everything we do. It is amazing to achieve this globally recognised EcoVardis gold standard.”
