Metropolitan Utilities District says its natural gas system is experiencing an isolated outage. M.U.D. says it still has multiple employees continuing to prepare the system for normal operations. The outage impacts customers in the area of N. 16th St. to Highway 75, and Locust Street to Sahler Street The district is on-site to make repairs and work with customers.All customers, with inside or outside gas meters, in the impacted area, will need MUD to enter their property for a safety inspection and appliance relights.If MUD can’t reach the customer and get access to an inside meter, the district will work with law enforcement to use a locksmith.
