Daniel Radcliffe sells NYC condo for $5.3 million

“Harry Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe has sold his Manhattan condo for $5.3 million, according to city property records filed on Monday.

The three-bedroom, 3½-bath home is at One Morton Square in the West Village.

Radcliffe purchased it for $4.9 million in 2008.

The gut-renovated unit stands on the 11th floor. The home was asking $5.65 million and comes with common charges of $3,089 a month. It first hit the market in June and went into contract two months later, before closing this month.

At 2,445 square feet, the light-filled spread is anchored by a living room with floor-to-ceiling window walls and views of the Hudson, a large dining room with an adjacent library/media room and a V-shaped chef’s kitchen. Design details include steam showers in two of the bathrooms and lots of storage space.

These days, Radcliffe is working on a yet-to-be-released biopic comedy, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” with Evan Rachel Wood.

Still, on Monday, Radcliffe told Newsweek that he “wouldn’t want fame” for his future children and hopes they will avoid it “at all costs.”

“Harry Potter” fans also just learned that other child stars on the set were jealous of Radcliffe’s close relationship with actor Gary Oldman, who played Sirius Black. According to a new book by Tom Felton, who played Harry’s fellow student and nemesis, Draco Malfoy, it was hard not to be jealous: “Just as Sirius became a father figure to Harry,” Felton wrote, “I had the sense that Gary became something of an inspiration for Daniel, helping him to navigate the tricky path of growing up in the spotlight as well as hone his acting skills … I think some of us — myself included — were a bit jealous of that bond … We could see that, in part thanks to Gary’s influence, Dan was really starting to learn the craft better than any of us.”

The 14-story building opened in 2004.

Over the years, its celebrity owners have included director Oliver Stone, comedian Mike Myers — and comedians Amy Poehler and Will Arnett.

Building amenities include a doorman, a concierge, a gym, on-site parking, bike storage and a children’s playroom.

The listing brokers are Jane Greenebrg and David Costelloe of Avenue 8.
