Strength and readiness of U.S. military is FAILING at all-time low… Go figure

With the economy, culture, and overall state of America standing so robust, a new analysis ranks the U.S. military as weak for the first time ever.

This, of course, comes as a great shock to many. With President Biden’s excelling leadership, it’s unclear how the strength and readiness of our military are both slipping.

The annual report by The Heritage Foundation takes into account alliances, regional political stability, the presence of U.S. military forces, the condition of key infrastructure, and threats. It measures the condition of the military through three vital areas: capacity, capability, and readiness.

The Index of U.S. Military Strength has concluded that the military as a whole holds a ‘weak’ rating, with some branches failing miserably with a ‘very weak’ score.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the assessment’s “weak” rating of the military was the first time the U.S. military has ever received a “weak” score in the index’s nine-year history.

The executive branch has become more inclusive than ever before, which all of America thought would bring so much strength and resilience to defending our land from enemies. Tolerance and acceptance overtook the harsh, extreme ideas of accountability, retaliation, and fortitude.

At the command of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and the Biden administration, the ‘brutal’ ideas of punishment and dominance have been absolved. But so has the strength of the entire U.S. military.

“The 2023 Index concludes that the current U.S. military force is at significant risk of not being able to meet the demands of a single major regional conflict,” the report determines.

The analysis finds America is not prepared to win a war against Russia or China.

Each branch of the military received a ranking. The Navy ranked ‘very weak’ in capacity, but still managed to receive a ‘weak’ overall rating. The Air Force, on the other hand, received an overall ‘very weak’ score due to its failing readiness. See more here.

“This is the logical consequence of years of sustained use, underfunding, poorly defined priorities, wildly shifting security policies, exceedingly poor discipline in program execution, and a profound lack of seriousness across the national security establishment even as threats to U.S. interests have surged,” The Heritage Foundation concludes.

Maybe it’s time to reconsider the woke, social justice, inclusivity equity ideas swarming the government and instead get back to what truly matters in the DOD – defense.

However, we know that’s unlikely to come anytime soon. We also know a way to fix this mess through Article V of the Constitution.

By using the Constitution to call for a Convention of States, We the People can be the check so many politicians don’t want – but really need.
