The deadline is fast approaching to file your federal income taxes, with these needing to be in by April 18, 2022, but you can get an extension until Oct. 17, 2022 if you complete IRS Form 4868.

You will stay have to pay your tax before this date in order to avoid a penalty, so it’s recommended that you pay at least 90 percent of your actual tax liability by the deadline.

Inflation Stimulus Payments

There are almost a dozen states in the USA that have so far decided to use their budget surplus to issue an inflation stimulus check, of which the amount varies state by state.

The inflation rate in the USA is the highest that it has been in 40 years and the goal is for this money to provide a boost to many citizens, even though in all of the cases it is less than the extra 2,000 dollars that the average citizen is expected to pay out this year due to rising costs of everything around them.

Will there be a Gas Stimulus Check?

There has recently been a sharp increase in the price of gas, as the rise in inflation and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has resulted in the cost of gas going up.

Therefore, the hope is that the Gas Rebate Act of 2022 will be passed and this will send out rebates of 100 dollars per month, in addition to 100 dollars for each dependent, to taxpayers who are living in areas where the average price per gallon is above four dollars.
